Introducing New QoR Colors for 2024!
QoR Artist Watercolors is expanding to 96 colors to offer additional creative opportunities in watercolor painting. Introducing New Acrylic Colors for 2024!
New Heavy Body, OPEN and Fluid acrylic colors coming in 2024! We’re introducing a new Azo Gold to replace the beloved, but discontinued Quinacridone/Nickel Azo Gold. In addition, three new unique, single pigment, lightfast colors join the Heavy Body lineup along with Naphthol Pink – a blend that quickly became a favorite in SoFlat. OPEN Slow-Drying acrylics sees the addition of Light Phthalo Blue and Titan Mars Pale – two convenient tints sure to delight figurative and landscape painters. Following frequent requests from artists, a selection of five vivid fluorescent colors are coming to the Fluid Acrylics line along with four light value tints – colors that have proven to be very popular since their 2018 launch in the Heavy Body line. Preorders are now open and colors will be available February 12, 2024.

New Golden Artist Colors Website
Announcing the soft-launch of the new GOLDEN site. The new GOLDEN website delivers a better user experience on mobile and desktop screens. The most useful content, including products and their applications, is now located at goldenartistcolors.com for artists across the GOLDEN, Williamsburg, and QoR brands. The focus so far has been on improving the performance of sites and organizing product and company information more consistently. The current brand sites will remain active and all addresses and links (URLs) used for all the brands and content will work – but as we continue our work, they will take more and more visitors to the new sites with newer versions of pages and content.

Encasing Natural Objects in Acrylics: Petals and Leaves
Numerous artists have asked about using acrylic mediums and gels
to preserve dried organic materials, such as grasses and flowers. After one such phone conversation, we began our first test, which involved layering dry peony petals over and under thick layers of Soft Gel Gloss.
