Save your black paint and make a stunning background using black gesso! Art Alternatives Gesso features excellent viscosity, opacity, color, dry time, application, flexibility and absorbency. Price Increases 2009 – Addendum

MVSS – SideShow Collectibles
There is an increase for the MVSS1201 and MVSS1202; the male and female Art S Buck Manikins are going up immediately at the supplier due to cost increases in Asia. Our retail will increase from $25.32 to $31.19 – a 18.82% rise, but we plan to hold the current price until 01/01/09.

Walt Glazer at Speedball wants to clarify information that we previously published about Speedball’s February price increase. Here it is, in his own words:

“Below is the price increase for Speedball, broken down by category.  The overall increase is 5.0% effective February 1, 2009. Our first priority is to reduce cost through improved product design, production efficiency, and raw material purchasing.  We did not have any price increase at all last year, and higher costs finally caught up with us.”
